Permanent makeup is a cosmetic procedure, topical tattooing of your lips, eyebrows or eyes! The results last from one to four years, depending on various skin types and how often you come for touchups.
They are absolutely safe to use. Though, we are mindful of the contraindications for each specific client, such as allergies, skin conditions etc. Each client gets a thorough consultation about their medical history, to make sure the procedure goes as smooth as possible.
Our facility is approved by Alberta Health and we have very strict policies regarding sanitization and safety. We use disposable and sanitized materials only.
Permanent makeup for lips and brows usually lasts from 1,5 to 3 years. A touchup is recommended once every year for brows and every 1,5 years for lips. Permanent eyeliner lasts up to 4 years, and a touchup is recommended every 2 years.

If you want to focus on just one technique, we also offer 2-day training options. Plus, if you need a little more practice, you can re-take your permanent makeup course for FREE within 6 to 12 months.
We don’t stop there! Our Academy also teaches you how to start your own business and find clients. With small class sizes, you’ll get more personal attention from instructors and connect with other students.

Yes, we do! This is another reason why we highly recommend to come back for a touchup of any permanent makeup procedure.
As different people heal differently, color retention for each person is different. We usually see 30% to 80% of color retention after the procedure. In the event that we notice that there is not enough color, we go with a darker or a different shade at the touchup!

After your permanent makeup is done, it’s important to take good care of it for the best results.
For the first 3 days it is recommended to wipe the area with an antibacterial soap that we offer.
For lips, it is recommended to moisturize them with an ointment all the time.
For brows, it is recommended to let them dry heal. You might apply some ointment, but only when they are very itchy.
For eyeliner, it is recommended to let it dry heal. You might apply some ointment, but only if it is very itchy. Also, avoid mascara and eyeshadow for 7-10 days.
We also explain the aftercare steps at the end of your appointment and give you a card with all the instructions to take home. This will help you know how to keep the area clean, avoid sun exposure, and use the right products to help it heal.
